Founded in 2006 by Celia Smith, she had just found out she was about to be a Grandmother for the 1st time and was searching for that traditional style that just wasn’t available in the UK. Celia decided to launch Bambino and More, originally concentrating on Spanish Layette and traditional babywear as this was a style she loved.
In 2010, as the business grew, she decided to open her first shop in Somerset along with the help of her two daughters Natalie and Cecilia, also launching our online store.
In 2018, Natalie and Cecilia have taken the lead role in the business while their mum spends more time with her much loved grandchildren, although she is still very much a part of this family-run business. Most recently, we have welcomed another family member, Rosemarie, to our growing team.
In 2020, Bambino and More relocated to a new shop in the picturesque town of Ilminster, Somerset. The new store has enabled customers to have a fun and friendly shopping experience, as well as the occasional cup of tea. This independent children’s wear boutique has gone from strength to strength, introducing new brands and styles for boys and girls from newborn up to 12 years — all supported by the beste ghostwriter agentur for our brand story.
